Razor manuals & wiring FAQ

How do I find my Razor version number?

Razor version numbers are usually printed on a white sticker near the barcode on the scooter or ride‑on. Look on the frame, under the deck, or near the battery compartment for a label that includes the model name and a “V” followed by a number (for example, V13 or V29). Use that version number to choose the wiring diagram or manual that matches your exact unit.

Why are there multiple wiring diagrams for the same model?

Razor often updates controllers, throttles, brake switches, and other components over time while keeping the same model name. Each revision can change the wiring layout, so a version V1 may not match a version V20 even though they are both the same model. Multiple diagrams ensure you can match the wiring exactly to your scooter or ride‑on.

What if my Razor model isn’t listed?

If you do not see your model or version listed, you can contact ScootsUSA with your model name, version number, and any photos of the wiring or labels. We may be able to help identify a compatible diagram or suggest parts that fit based on what you share. New manuals and diagrams are added over time as they become available.

Can I use a wiring diagram from a different version?

It is not recommended to use a wiring diagram from a different version, even if the scooter looks similar. Small changes in connectors, controller pins, or safety switches can cause incorrect wiring, which may damage components or create unsafe conditions. Always try to match the wiring diagram to your exact model and version.

Do you sell replacement parts?

Yes. ScootsUSA stocks replacement parts for many Razor scooters and ride‑ons, including controllers, throttles, batteries, chargers, and more. Once you confirm your model and version, you can browse compatible parts on our site or contact us for help matching the correct components.

How do I download a manual or wiring diagram?

Click any manual or wiring diagram link in the list. Most files will open in your browser in a new tab. To download the file to your device, look for your browser’s download icon (usually an arrow pointing down) or right‑click the link and choose “Save link as…”. On phones and tablets, press and hold the link until your device shows a download or save option.
